The Hours
With Your soul, with My soul, I shall guide you
All the days that your life has to live ~
I , a Stranger, am always beside you;
All I have, for Our life, We will give.
Though the land and the sea lie between us
Though the shore seems so far now from view;
Every step that you take, look beside you
For my footprints were ever with you.
When eternity dawns, I will find you ~
Through the shifting of dreams, I shall seek;
You were mine and I yours, life denied me
~ Our hour of truth it will speak ~
Whilst I slumber at night, free from longing,
When you dance through your days, free from care ~
When my heart lights its sweet scented candle;
You will feel me and know I am there.
Though the storms gathered high up above us
Hours were dark and so cold;
Your arms reached for me, and I loved you
With Our love that will never grow old.
